Hello everyone! I’m trying to surprise my fiancée for our anniversary with a big blanket and its been tough to keep a secret!
My fiancée loves anything from DC comics like Superman and one of his favorite comics is Batman. I found this chart after doing a google search for some inspiration: The Pattern
I’ve never changed colors mid-row before but I did some research and it doesn’t seem so difficult. In order to make it the size I wanted, I just multiplied each square on the graph by five in order to get it the length I want. I’m still trying to figure out how to make the insignia not squished like when you stretch pictures in paint, so I’ll update the posts about the blanket as I go.
This blanket gift may have to wait until his birthday in October instead of our anniversary in April. I started the blanket on Friday and have done four rows so far. It’s look pretty good so far I think, even though its just plain black so far. I’m excited to see how it turns out 🙂
